OK Gateway Club members... I want to put out a feeler to see if you would be interested in having a monthly "Install Day".

An "Install Day" is going to be designated to work on people

 

Sounds good but don't know if it would be a monthly thing. Maybe we would be changing someones oil every month but not sure about actually 'installing' anything.

The tape is still up in the air but I plan on pulling out my AEM CAI and installing a comptech. I also want to maybe replace my door speakers and/or head unit. Regardless, I'll be there to lend a helping hand.

So when's it gonna be? I think I'm going to buy a used Comptech this week.

 

Looks like we have enough takers to make this happen. My only problem is that the entire month of July is booked up for me and August is going fast. The first available time I have is July 31st. We can do it at my house then, unless someone wants to host the first (of many) install days at their house...

Depending on how successful the house cleanup goes next week, I might be able to offer some assistance here.

We can get (3) cars into the garage, but won't have much room to move around with a lot of guys inside as well. The upside is that my garage is air conditioned. I'm the kind of guy that works on cars...

It would be tough to do at the moment due to the pile of garbage currently resident in the garage now (like the spare Jap Probe motor, transaxle and other stuff hanging around in there), but when cleared out, we could do it OK.

My weekends are pretty booked right now too, but the end of July looks open right now.

I have access to an empty garage but it's on my side of the river so I don't know how that would work out. It also has a 10-20 car lot on the side of the house too.

 

Am still pretty booked up, but want to get this planned. How does August 14th or 28th sound?

I can volunteer my garage unless Greg or Alex want to use their "space"

To do's:

Mike... Crossbar install (15 min)
Alex: pulling out his AEM CAI and installing a comptech (1 hr), door speakers (30 min), HU (1 hour with additional wiring needed)
Greg... Face time (Priceless!)

So... We have a short list.

Now we need to figure out time. I would prefer to start at 9:00
Date: 8/14 or 8/28
Place: Mike, Alex or Gregs. With the small amount of work Greg or Mike would be best, unless we cruise to Alex.
