Default What Vin #'s In My02 Have The Upgraded Oil Bolts?

I have seen the post where the engine numbers are listed, but I am curious if anyone knows what VIN's have the upgraded oil banjo bolts. I.E. if theres a way to tell due to the VIN you are looking at...

I dun know the exact vin#, but I do know the new oil jet bolts were installed 1/2 way though 02.

You may have to do a search on this one.

What are the benefits to having the new bolts? Is it a must-do for the older models?

Honda had a recall in Europe in 02. Honda said there was no need for a recall in the US but subsequently started installing the new bolt halfway through 02

The newer bolt offers better oil flow to the pistons. There had been a few expired engines up to that point.

Yeah....I have heard of a few engine problems due to the oil banjo bolts, but nothing gives a confirmed or even ballpark idea what VIN's were actually upgraded. And yes I have done a search and I got nothing.....somebody help...the only other solution I can think of would be to call the Honda dealership, which I may do if nobody here can help....

I did a search and found this helpful thread:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...et%20bolts&st=0

It was reported that MY 2002 cars with engines above #1025386 had the new bolts. However, when I dropped the pan on a MY 2002 car with engine #1025376, it had the new bolts already installed!
