Default Stock Springs, Which Are Front And Which Are Rear?

I am going back to my stock springs but I mixed them up.
Can anyone tell me which OEM springs are the front and which are the rear? One pair has blue dots and one pair has blue and orange dots. I guess I should have labelled them.

Thanks

On MY 02 the fronts had three blue dots, and rears had two blue dots and one yellow. I marked mine when I removed them. Can't say about other model years.

I'm color blind, yellow might actually be orange.

Simple, the front shocks are longer than the rear shocks in length, front springs would definitely be longer than rear springs.

Not true...while the shocks are different lengths, the springs are all the same height.

If you're still at a loss, you could try experimenting to see which are stiffer. Stock rears are 291 lb/in, fronts are 219 lb/in. However, SSS is correct; the fronts are about 1/2 in longer than the rears (11.2 in vs 10.7 in) when new -- they do sag over time, though.

Front stock springs are slightly longer and are made from thinner wire too (at least in MY01).
