After a brief exchange in the New S Owner thread, I have decided to start this thread to gauge interest in doing a Mod day at my or someone's house.

I am willing to host but would need to set it up for a week or so down the road.

This mod fest would be to clear out your head light lens or replace them with clear or smoked diffusers I would want to replace my ambers with JDM or US clear diffusers so, if anyone has these diffusers and wants to sell them please PM me.

let me know who would be interested in doing this.

Someone who has done this before and wants to help out would get free beers and food all day and tips if they were to tutor the event.

I'm interested but ready to do this soon. As soon as my overpriced pieces of plastic come in the mail, I'm doing it. If you don't have diffusers, consider going naked. ie, just take the orange plastic out and don't replace it with anything. This is what Troy did.

This weekend is tight but we could possibly do it on Sunday the 31st. if not the following weekend could work

any one interested in doing this together at my house (Largo off of Starkey just south of Brian Dairy), PM me and we will set up a time and I will update this thread

 

I don't think I will be able to do it this weekend. I am pretty booked all weekend, but I am very interested in doing this.

ya i would have to go for the naked look as well, maybe some blue bulbs if i can find any. has anyone of you done this before

The more the merrier so I will go with the flow. I can support many people at the house. No pool but plenty of seating inside and deck out back I can even try to get the masonry grill up and going. Steaks, shrimps dogs whatever!!!

Troy (hygieneboy) has done this before and I would want to invite him to serve as consultant/yoda for this event. When we lock a date down I will ask him to join us.

 

OK no PM's on this so I am assuming that there is no interest for this weekend or I smell and nobody likes me...more likely it is the homeliness of my still black center caps on my rims (I am fixing that this weekend regardless of my work schedule).

I hope it is the first one and I will bump this topic from time to time until a couple people want to get together.

I am not opposed to doing this at someone elses house if that would generate more interest. I know some (a lot) are pretty far from my side of town so I am not hurt by this notion.

Regardless of when/where I would love to do this no matter what, so just PM whenever you like.
