Clearing your headlights
I did this Friday night/Saturday morning. I wanted to look styling for the pool party. I started Friday night by taking the bumper off and the headlights out. I didn't need tiny hands after all because I just unplugged everything after I unbolted the headlight. That works really well. There's enough slack on the wires to pull the headlight out and unplug. Friday night ended with two headlights on my kitchen counter, ready for modification the next morning.
Saturday morning, I waked and baked. One headlight came apart real easy, one was more difficult. I baked at 225 deg. for 10 minutes intially to get a corner open and then another 5 to 10 minutes to get the whole lens off. No issues, not drama, just a lot of hard work. It's a lot harder to get the lens back on than to get it off.
This mod if definately worth it. My car looks 1000 times better now without the orange. The smoked diffuser has a purplish tint to it when you look at it from different angles. Mostly, it just looks black/grey. The best part is that when you look at the USDM diffusers from the side, it has a pattern that looks like my carbon fiber hood. Pretty cool.
I can help anyone that wants to do this mod. Let me know.

I took some of the install but not of the car after it was complete. I wanted to wait and wash the baby first before showing her off. I didn't want to wash her until I gave the silicone enough time to cure. I took her out to the pool party and got rained on anyway so it would have been all for naught. The good thing is that there wasn't any fogging after a hard rain Saturday night. That's always a good thing. I'll take some photos this weekend and post them.
