Default October 9th PCH Drive

Who: All S2000 owners

What: A nice relaxing drive up PCH.

When: Saturday October 9th 2004. Meeting at 9am, and rolling out by 9:30.

Where: Meeting at Santa Monica, driving up PCH to Ventura Harbor, and having our cars displayed on the main lawn.

Why: Why the hell not

Group leader volunteers, please be at the meeting location by 8:45am for a quick meeting.

If you are signed up and do not have the address for the morning meeting spot, please PM myself or drewchie. ADDRESS WILL NOT BE GIVEN OUT IF YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED OWNER SINCE THIS IS THE WORKPLACE OF A FELLOW MEMBER, WE DON'T NEED ANY GATE CRASHERS. So enter you VIN

If you don't make it to the meeting spot, here is the address of Ventura Harbor Village:

Address:

1583 Spinnaker Drive
Ventura, CA 93001

They want us there by 11am, so I think we'll be ok if we leave no later than 9:45 (PCH gets pretty crowded on the weekends).

When we get there, we are to call Leticia Wilson (Ventura Harbor Village representative). She will let us in going through Lot # 2, which is off of Spinaker Ave. and will lead us to the main lawn. She wants us to park in "car show form".

Bring your cameras, sun screen, a light jacket, and $$$ for food.

See ya Saturday!

Jay

Hey I'd be interested in that drive too. I've driven it in the S before. Tons of fun. Driving to Lake Cachuma from Santa Barbara is also awsome. That may be a fun addition once we reach Santa Barbara.

I'd love it! If I'm not away on business when you schedule it, me and Mrs. Nicotunes will be there!

I'm all for it. I've been thinking about doing this drive by myself for some time, but never got around to it. It should be a lot more fun with some other cars along. Sounds cool.

Well since I missed the Megameet because I was not paying attention (Honda World is about 5 miles from my house), I would be interested in this also. Maybe we meet near Topanga Canyon and PCH and do the Mulholland drive also? We just did this for the first time Sat, and it was a lot of fun. Once you set a date I will know better that I can commit.

I saw that you wanted to avoid canyon drives to relax a little on the trip...but we don't have to take it at a speed where it is not enjoyable. I am a newbee to this type of driving so I take it relatively safe.
