Dumb question...are all the AS cars 04 S2000s?

 

Nope. I didn't recognize the name of any 04 S2K pilot in the AS standings Steve listed. The Kozlaks are driving a 993 and McHugh is driving a C4. Uyeda a Boxster S. Fine: don't know.

 

There are no S2000s running in AS in the Pro Finale. Klinger, Heydlauff, and the McCombs were all at the practice event in their '04s, but after eight hours on site, I decided to pack it in instead of waiting for their heat. Fine's running a WRX STi.

Oh, and I almost forgot about our s2ki.com alumni running in SM2. The good news is that Andy McKee (s2k2fast4me) won the Finale in a nail-biter, clawing his way up from second on the strength of some really fast runs today. The less good news is that Ian Stewart (Mrsideways) struggled in his Miata, and eventually finished up a few seconds out of the lead.

It'll be fun to see these guys go at it again in a few days...

What are the weather conditions like today?

 

The ladies BS results are posted, but I'm still waiting to see the men's. Of course the guys don't run until the last heat of the day, so I wouldn't expect results until after I leave work.
