Default Catch Can

My car smokes on fast right turns just like so many other S2k's. Catch can is the solution I hear. The question is where can I get a kit and what's the best one to get if there are more than one. Ideally, I'd like a bolt on type of thingie where it would be 100% reversable.

Grattan & Road America are coming up... don't want to get black flagged anymore.

Thanks,
Drew

That's a nice catch can but I don't beleive it's leagal for stock class auto-x competition. I realize the main post pertains to track but for those who are looking for a can for auto-x I think the can cannot change the pcv system and since this can has a vent it alters the stock system.

I've never had a problem with smoke in autoX.

and, even if I did, it really doesn't matter, since it's not hurting anything... (except for the course workers' eyes maybe...)

It also robs power... or at least it always has in the instances that I've noticed it. So far, I've only encountered this problem on one track, but the car definitely stumbled when it happened.

BTW... you have an '04, right. I thought the valve cover was re-designed to help prevent this from occurring. Are people still seeing the problem on '04s?

I had my car smoking every lap at the Bus Stop this weekend in Buttonwillow. I didn't notice any loss of power. It ruined my session though as I was black flagged.

Yah, I was the one that said they redesigned them, remember?

They are better about it but will still blow a 3 turn long cloud of smoke. they still need the cans.

kit - that is tiny isn't it?

I run hoosiers on a basically stock engine 2001 S2000 and would fill that in a 20 minute session depending on the track.

I attempted to make my own using the biggest air compressor filter I could find which i filled in 20 minutes as well.....

I just purchased a fake mugen (or real...who knows) can off of ebay... much bigger.
