got back from grattan - no update as I didn't need to use the catch can. Car wasn't smoking at all with the stock set up. But I've never had it smoke on this track, so I'll wait until Road America to see if I'll have to use this thing.

That looks more like a contraction of what I did

I'm not sure how much heat the dome (assuming clear plastic) piece is designed to take. It's going to see more intense radiated heat in that location. Failure would result in a vacuum leak and oil spilling on a hot engine. Something to consider.

This looks like a track setup based on the mods that I see, the heat would likely be greater under those conditions as well.

No, a baffled oil pan won't do anything to solve the issue of oil coming out the top of the valve cover during cornering. It might help other issues, but not this one
