my f$#@ing GOD! I am so pissed so I bought a new 05 last thursday, so i decide swap out the HU, speakers and Amp, so i buy everyhting and the install it, I dididnt really look at the install and drove to a friends house to show the setup. well i got to his house and the audio doesnt turn on, 30 minutes after install, WTF! thats not even the worse part, i look at the install job, wow the worst job I have ever seen.

#1 The gromet though the firewall is broken and pushed in, thats one thing. so unsafe.

#2 They install the amp in the bottom of the trunk, well i wouldnt say install,just put in the trunk with 5 screws holding it in place, on the side of the amp, wtf? thats not even the worse

#3 They decide to put in a huge X cut in the trunk carpet to run the wires. why not just a slit, oh wait that makes too much sense. thats still not the worse.

#4 heres theworse. They ground the amp by putting in 5 screws in the bottom of the trunk! WHAT THE HELL! theres screws hanging though the bottom of the trunk to the outside! 10 of them.

the worse professional instalation I have ever seen. They have destroyed a brand new car havenet even had the car for a week. any ideas of legal action or something esle to fix my car and have them pay for it? sorry for the language i know all of you can feel for me, thanks, NEVER GO TO CIRCUIT CITY! PLEASE HELP ME! i want my car fixed

 

you get what you pay for???

Thats why you go to prof audio shops. The guys I see working their are kids working at min wage almost and around 17 or 18.

 

They would be the "worst."

Sorry, about your experience. In car audio installations you get what you pay for in labor. That's why most owners do their own audio work.

I usually do my own, but I didnt want to screw up my own car..........oops, lol i was just wondering if there gg to fix it when i talk to them 2morrow or if im just screwed. this instalation is completly unacceptable. I know circuit city isnt the best, I just wanted somehting untill I can afford a sick system. i did get what i paid for, but not for them to destroy my car

 

yea... honestly i would have done the job myself... or paid more to get it done by proffessionals. Like others mentioned, I only see young people working on the cars at circuit city that don't seem to have much experience

 

i use to work for ccn and let me tell you guy, dont ever take your car to glendale circuit city. those guys take cars out for joy rides and stuff.

yeah ,ill put them up 2morrow, there over a a friends house, were sending them into there corporate office, the local news station and the better business bureau, noone should ever have to put up with something like this
