My S2k got rear speakers too!
Thanks to Ramon (Rortiz) and Lucid, I'm now 100% satisfied w/ my stereo. Ramon installed my rear speakers today...not sure if I helped or just got in the way.
He did a GREAT job, and his patience was admirable given that my speakers didn't exactly drop in like his did (they have a huge magnet/crossover almost the full diameter of the speaker).
As for the sound...they rock! I can cruise down the freeway w/ the top down @ high speeds and hear/feel everything loud and clear. I have a great amp and front speakers, but wind noise would previously overcome them to the point where it sometimes seemed like I could hear the rhythm but not much detail. The rears even hold up well to the bass w/ no need to install the bass blockers that I bought - in fact, they really put out a nice vibe in your back to help feel the music. Since I'm running everything off my PPI amp, the mute button works, and the front/rear balance sounds perfect.
I can't recommend this mod highly enough, as it's the highest ranking one I've done in terms of bang for the buck.
If you want some totally awesome sounding rear speakers, I highly recommend the Eclipse Point Source. If you want an easy install, though, pick anyhing else!

Holy Smokes Batman.... I got to hear the final result in Chris's car... all I can say is OHH MY GOD. I totally didn't expect it to "fill" the cabin like it did... and you could feel the music.
This is a must-have mod.... great job guys.

Eclipse Point Source - 6.5" up front, 4" rear. You can get more info @ http://www.eclipse-web.com/ or go to Custom Sounds on Burnet to check 'em out.
The nice thing about these is that they're constructed more like separates in one unit than typical coaxes...they have outboard crossovers can be bypassed in biamp apps, huge magnets, silk dome, tweeters, and concentrically mounted driver (as opposed to coax, where the tweeter is mounted on top).
This is my second car w/ Eclipse Point Sources, and I love them.

Mmm, that sounds tastey (pun intended).
I think I'll stick with the Polk EX3 series, well, because I get a discount on 'em
hehehe
I do like Polk though, I have them on my home stereo and my computer speakers. Very natural and spacious sound. Not too crisp, but not in any way dull.
