The T1 is an ok camera. If you do a google search I'm sure you'll find lots of links to good reviews, but there is the inability to see anything on the LCD in low light, and the lack of an optical viewfinder.
Given its price, you would think they would have included some manual controls. Redeye is a real issue, but it comes with the territory. The flash is very weak, with a limited range. And you'lll have to buy all new, expensive Memory Stick Duo cards.
The images also have a fuzzy "video capture" look to them -- as if you took them with a webcam. There's no tripod mount so forget long exposure shots unless you set it on something.

I purchased the T1 for my mother because she wanted a small digital camera. Redeye is an issue but it isn't too bad, considering how near the flash is to the lens. Naomi is correct about the low light issue. It can focus but you can't see anything on the LCD, but how often do you take pictures with almost no light around?
I can send you some sample pics if you're still interested in the camera.

It looks not bad, but I dunno, I want my camera to 'feel' like a real camera.. I know there will be lots of sleeker, slimmer models coming out soon, but what you gain in compactness you might lose in grip and feel. That cam looks not bad judging from the specs, but as Naomi said, i'd stick with either Canon or Nikon.. The Powershot A80 or A95 are good cameras around that price range... Also, it'd help to know what you're using it for.. Do you need 5MP? Are you going to be producing large prints or mostly postcard type prints?
oh and btw, you will soon realize that there is no such thing as the perfect camera! I had to realize this as I was making my purchase.. Even for mid-level cameras that you are looking for, there's always gonna be something that it may lack or may bug you.. Usually having to do with flash range or exposure in lowlight situations.. but that is usually the case in most cameras.
