Default Vortech + Alaniz P&P Head + Mugen Header

Well, I finally got my car back from the shop after installation of the Alaniz Head and Mugen Header. More details on the head can be found HERE.

The short and sweet of it is that the gains after tuning are impressive: a peak increase of @ 40 whp and 20 ft/lbs torque at 8700 RPM, and anywhere from @ 10-30 whp and 10 ft/lbs torque throughout the RPM band after VTEC:

Being the overly cautious person that he is, my tuner only took it up to 8700 this time around. He believes this setup is capable of much more given the way the hp and tq curves continued to climb up top. In the next few months, we will raise the redline (9200?), up the boost and see what happens.

I wanna give a shout out to Joe over at Alaniz, my tuner Frank at SFP and Sideways (for introducing me to the wonders of Alaniz in the 1st place). Thanks again, fellas.

That's awesome man.

Too bad you and Sideway's don't live closer to each other...
