Default Thailand Tsunami

I just wanted to send everyone a quick note to let you know that my g/f and I survived the Tsunami that devastated the Southern part of Thailand (and Shri Lanka, and India, and...).

We are cut and bruised, but in good health otherwise. We feel extremely fortunate, as one person in our group did not survive. They found her body this morning, and her friend had to identify her by the jewelry she was wearing. She was among the 200+ on our island that perished in the disaster. Everything we brought with us was destroyed, but at least we are alive.

I'll see everyone at Raptor's in January. You don't know how good it feel to say that.

Brant

Thank God you're OK, Brant! My wife and her son are supposed to go in March, but now I don't know of course. If I am not imposing, may I ask: Where were you when it hit? Phuket or a different area? Were you on the beach when it hit or in the hotel? What tour group were you with? My wife is scheduled to go with a tour group called Friendly Planet....a somewhat ironic name now.....

As we have said here before: Possessions are replaceable. You and your girlfriend are not. Welcome home, Brant!
