I will need some help as well. I just had 18" wheels fitted and am looking of lowering my S for about 2cm. Do you think my wheels will rub? And like reds2k mentioned which springs will give me this effect.
My wheels are front 225/40/18 and rear 255/35/18 with Michelin Pilot Sport II.

hey speed4tu, thanx for the reply...i ll look into those springs. i was looking into TIEN S.TECH SRPINGS. because its only a 1 inch drop. im afraid of scraping the speed bumps and stuff.
hey energetic, can you send me a picture of your ride so i could see how your 18's are sitting. your tires are pretty wide at 255 in the rear..do they stick out?

I would suggest to buy a new coilover set for your car instead of just lowering it with springs.
However, if you are looking just for height adjustable springs I would go with Comptech
Energetic you should check your offset in your new wheels.
Rub is mainly caused by wrong aftermarket wheel offset. Stock are Front +55, Rear +65

@ reds_s2k and @aris
Actually they dont stick out at all which gave me a surprice as well. They are excellent. At the beginning I was afraid of this but no problem at all.
Besides I have put the 18"OZ Superleggera and they dont stick out at all.
And they dont rub at all now anyway. Am only concerned after lowering the S that rub will occur.

Old reliable Eibach pro kit is perfect too, about a 1" drop and the price can't be beat. Search ebay those spring consistently go on there for $150-180. Good deal for a good qulity product.
While doing our typical R&D for the S2000 kit, we found that anything over 1" actually made the car handle worse than stock. This is why we stuck w/ 1" all around. This car handles fantastic as it sits (stock).
Oh, and I recommend Eibach
