springs are not just springs...there is a lot of technology involved in making a high quality spring. there are tons of junk springs out there. there are also tons of springs out there that are very, very nice.
oh ya. RS*R TI2000 springs are the only one made with a titanium composite material.
picture of s2k on 18's with RSR TI2000 springs...looks nice!

Whatever you do, just keep in mind that the stock shocks will hold up anywhere from 2,000 to 30,000 (most I've seen) before needing to be replaced.
I went with Eibachs and my stock shocks lasted me about 10,000 miles - BUT - everything is relative to the way you drive (and the way the previous owner drove if you bought yours used).
I am now riding on Konis and Comptech adjustable springs and am very pleased with this setup.
Here are a few answers for the 18" guys out there (these are based solely on my own experiences):
I was on 18" SSR GT1's (255/35 rear tires) with the Eibach springs and only rubbed in the rear when going over a drop in the road while going straight - never while turning.
Had 17" CE28N's (225 front, 255 rear) and never had a problem till I dropped the car to a little more than finger gap with the Koni/Comptechs and started rubbing like crazy in the front - never the rear.
Went back to stocks for a week - no rubs at all.
Now on 18" GT-C's with +50 offset (225F/245R) - as of last Thursday - and didn't rub at all. Just finished rolling the fenders and lowering the car some more and I cannot rub - I've been trying too! I think I can put a sideskirt on the ground before I rub
You can also put more negative camber on your alignment to angle the top of the wheel better

I love the S-Techs. I plan on upgrading to Koni shocks in a couple of months. I have been lowered for about 12,000 miles and the ride is still pretty damn good. I have 18s and do not rub at all. I have 18x8 +55 fronts and 18x9 +60 rears, so the offsets are damn good. Hope that helps reds!

It looks like in my case the total diameter of my wheels is gone to the front 25.1" and to the rear 25.2", while stock wheels were 25.0" and rear 24.8". Now the rear is supposed to be higher than the previous setup. I havent got so much knowledge in this matters so I will need all the help I can get.
Now in my case should I fit the Eibach Pro Kit to my S? Logically I should lower the rear more than in front...
