Honda Turbo coming
Sorry if repost, but I would love a turbo TSX, especially if it was rear/all wheel drive
"According to information posted to a popular Honda enthusiast Web site, honda-acura.net, the automaker plans to bring its first-ever turbocharged engine to the U.S. for model year 2006 or 2007. The 2.4-liter four would be fitted into either the Acura TSX or a new high-performance Civic model that would slot above the Si. The engine would be of a new design - not that of the 2.4 currently used in several U.S. products including the best-selling Accord - and would probably make about 240 hp. The next-generation Honda Civic Si will have either a 2.0-liter or 2.4-liter four, with standard horsepower boosted to around 200 hp in either form. Honda has already announced that it will offer a version of variable cylinder management system on a redesigned Pilot due this fall, and it will also offer a revamped engine lineup, including hybrid offerings, on Civic models, which will be all-new for '06."

This "news" is several months old. It basically said they would drop in the SH-AWD system and turbocharge the motor for an EVO/STI competitor.
If it really is true, I'd seriously consider buying one. The TSX looks vastly superior and has a much nicer interior than the EVO/STI.

Honda would never turbo any of their production cars for sale to the public. Honda and BMW are the only two OEM that do not need turbos to produce significant horsepower. I'm pretty sure their very proud of it and will want to keep it that way until they can no longer compete with other OEMs.
Its all rumors now of course, but a few different people have been reporting something like this for awhile. A guy over at ClubRSX who claimed his grandfather was a retired exec at Honda of Japan said he went to their HQ with his grandfather for a special tour and they had an AWD (not SH-AWD, I think VTM-4) turbo charged JDM Accord (aka TSX). He said they were considering releasing it to the USA. This guy was a mod on the forums and he had pictures from his trip to Japan, and from the Honda HQ which included some historical cars. Obviously he didn't have pictures of the turbocharged AWD Accord, but his story sounded pretty legit. Even if it was true, there's no telling if they'd actually introduce a car like that.
I would imagine though that a horsepower bump would be in line for the TSX when it gets refreshed for MY2007. Whether or not its a turbo charged 2.4L @ 240hp, or just some sort of slight horsepower bump like the RSX got is anybody's guess.
