Call out the AA for this?
I was just looking at the window lock switch on the driver's door today and thought to myself how embarrassing it would be if, upon parking outside a friend's house and raising the hood, you discovered that the passenger window wouldn't raise and, thinking it was almost certainly a blown fuse, you were to ring the AA for roadside assistance.
Of course, the kindly AA man would arrive and within two nanoseconds spot the problem and, with a wry grin, simply unlock the window switch.
How embarrassing would that be for the driver ...
Never happened to me, of course ...

I think that ranks with unlocking the car with the remote, putting the shopping in the boot ,shutting the boot only to find the keys are still in there and because you havent opened the door in the aloted time the car has relocked it self Oh and all on the coldest night of the year

Hat's off to the AA bloke. He had a sense of humour and his timing was impeccable. As I was droning on about the driver's side button not working, he crouched down beside the door to take a look. I then walked round to the passenger side explaining that that button didn't work either and just as I bent down to look at him through the passenger side, lo and behold, the glass began to rise up under my nose with him grinning from ear to ear ...
Apparently on his way to the call, he'd been looking on his laptop for possible explanations and the lock switch was top of the list
In my defence, I'll say that if it had been stuck in the up position, I might have thought of the lock, but the fact it was open made me think there must be something wrong. The lock switch is a bit daft though ... fair enough if it only disabled the passenger door control but it also disables the driver's side
Felt a right chump anyway ...

Then the window would drop wherever the switch was positioned i assume .
