OK -- the winning date is Saturday, June 25th, 2005. I have applied for permits at two Suffolk County parks: 1) Blydenburgh County Park ( http://www.co.suffolk.ny.us/webtemp1.cfm?dept=10&id=873 ) and 2) Southhaven County Park ( http://www.co.suffolk.ny.us/webtemp1.cfm?dept=10&id=878 ) we should know within a short while which location is approved.

Please note that in the event of rain we will change the location of the event to my house; the date will remain the same.

Seeing as we expect to incorporate a DRIVE with this event, I did not apply for the right to serve alcohol .

Under the terms of the permit we can have our site from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and have up to 50 people attending the event.

I will provide an update as soon as I know the location for sure.

DATE CHANGE as of 4/4. NEW DATE IS June 18. Paulie is a self proclaimed A-Hole.

This works well. Paulie and I decided on June 18 for the New Hope run and BBQ. Glad to see we won't have a large conflict.
