Red face Valve Adjustment Tech Day at CoralDoc's

Hey all. I talked with Josh about doing another valve adjustment tech day, and he has graciously agreed to host it. It will be held at his house on May 1st starting at 9 a.m. SHARP. Be there, or be square.

Pls post here if you will be attending. Hope to see you there.

I've gradually noticed a constant "ticking" sound (it's soft, but noticeable) coming from the engine bay. I guess this means I might need a valve adjustment? If so, I'm in.

Don't think i've ever done a valve adjustment. How would I know if I need one? And If i do need what.. what do i need to bring, other than the car.

Thanks!

^ How many miles do you have on the car? If you've got more than 40K and haven't had the valves checked, I would say it would be worth your while (if only just to see if they're w/in spec).

As far as what to bring, if you've got tools, you can bring those. The more wrenches we have, the better. I'm bringing my set...as well as some steaks & burgers for the barbie. If somebody wants to bring sodas or other munchies, plz feel free. Last time we did this, we were pretty much there all day.

I was going to take my car to the shop to get this done, so I might as well get it done now. I'm in and I'll bring some beer. Josh, instructions to get to your place?
