Default Support from Honda Dealers or AHM

Hello All:

I am looking for any information regarding S2000 events in the past 5.5 years. Be it a drive, dinner, BBQ, etc., where a Honda Dealer participated with the event organizers

For Example: Fall colors, Sac. II days, Mega Meet, etc.

Please post Dates, State, City and Dealer name and City, etc.

Any other details such as Dealer paid for Lunch, Outside vendors had booths, Drove to Reno, Vendors gave away parts, free oil changes etc.
I think Antrum Way Honda did safety checks

Honda World in Westminster does a fantastic job supporting the SoCal community. They sponsor the megameet, spugen meet, eibach open house, etc. every year

The Pierceys rock!

..the dealers do a better job supporting the enthusiasts than AHM, that's for sure.

Earnhardt Honda sponsored the Southwest S2000's in the Sun meet. This was a fantastic event held in Phoenix on April 30, 2005.

Earnhardt's provided a catered lunch, inside the cleared for the occasion service bays. They had two 2005 S2000's on display and some other parts/vendor displays available for perusal. There was a raffle of S2000 parts and paraphernalia that included items from Earnhardts and a few other vendors (S-Pods and Science of Speed are two that I remember).

The Earnhardt S2000 mechanic was available for consultation and performed a few minor mechanical procedures for attendees as requested. Earnhardts also provided event T-shirts to all the attendees.

The dealership Service, Parts, and General managers in addition to a Honda regional representative introduced themselves and gave a brief speech on how they were there for us.

Lori and Cesar are the best. Thanks for the opportunity to comment on Earnhardt Honda.

Here's a couple of threads one for the event and the other on how great it is to be a customer of Earnhardt Honda.

Which part of
"Please no negative comments"
Don't you understand?

I'm trying to convince a few higher ups at AH that we need to support enthusiasts more, and then I get this attitude.

Still need a little help.

Hardtopguy (Ganley Honda) supported Fall colors 2004 with a large cash outlay (reads as thousands). This helped to fund the Track and keep the cost lower. I don't think we could have pulled off the event without their help. If you need more details, shoot me an e-mail and I will pass on Rick's contact info. he has the details from the past 4 Fall Colors. Also CompTech was on hand, and a few other smaller vendor. We have never been good at getting vendors to FC, there is just never time to make that happen.

You should also contact jeff @ Ganley for more details of what they have supported and where. I know for a fact that they have supported just about (if not all) large S2000 events in the lsat few years. infact Jeff is on the road heading to an event in the mid west now.

John Eagle Honda has supported the s2000 onwers with prizes for out local runs a few times. Gift certs for discounted services, hats and the like. they have also sponsored S2ki.com when it was born.

Thanks for trying to push this effort for us (All owners). Rick and co would be happy to fly in to CA and present Fall Color to AHM. We had planned to do this, but our contact within Honda never got back with us (he was at the local level) so we never had a chance to deliver our presentation.

I organized an event at Hopkins Honda in Sunnyvale, CA back in late 01.

Great turnout and lots of fun. They provided pizza and great discounts on parts/service. They also had raffles and some awesome prizes. Gave everyone who attended a S2000 t-shirt. I might have to try and get one together again.
