Default soft top question

Is there a filter in the draining system of the soft top? if so, does anybody clean it out? just curious because there could be stuff getting inside like leaves, twigs, etc that could maybe clog the drain or something.

No, there is no filter but there is a narrow funnel/trap on eigther side right behind the door sill that the water drains into. When I replaced my soft top, I was able to get in there. I found a couple of leaves but that was all. There is a small hole at the bottom of the funnel/trap that drains the water out. The hole is slightly smaller than a dime. There is a piece of plastic molded down the center of the hole dividing equally. This stops heavier items from getting stuck in the drain hole. I thought mine would be all clogged up but they weren't.

Hope this helps!
