Default Alarm install, door locks.. is it a 5 wire system?

I pulled out the keyless entry module out and expecting a negative trigger for the door locks but I've been getting contradicting information from techsoft and other sources saying it's a 5 wire system. Can somebody verify this for me?

I would help you out, but if I post the correct information Ill get banned for the 4th time, and I kinda have a small bet going on to see if I can make it two whole weeks without getting banned.

These people dont believe in techsoft, even though DEI is the single largest mobile security manufacturer in the world.

I told another fella that he can catch the black/white at the same keyless module you're at (for - door trigger) and I got banned three times in a week because certain moderators told me my information was incorrect...

Ill will, however, share some information with you via pm if you are interested.

This info I just came across and if its correct, either you or myself can meter to determine, will allow you to hit the negative trigger lock and ul without having to do the 5 wire.

Pm if interested.

The door locks are negative trigger.

There is a 16 pin connector mounted just below the ECU behind the drivers side kick panel.

Pink / Black Stripe - locks
Yellow / Green Stripe - unlocks

if anyone's going to know... William will, since for years he sold a custom prepared DEI alarm for the S2000.

not to hate more on Shifty, but i'd trust William from here to Az. i don't know how much Shifty weighs, so i can't tell you how far i'd be able to throw him... otherwise, i'd tell you i trust him as far as i can throw him....

as it stands right now, i'm trying to verify something that will hopefully put this whole 'what color wire' thing to an end... frankly, having John always upset and all moderator-like and Shifty always whining and stirring up crap is just annoying the piss out of me.

heh, that'd be cool. should i fly up w/ my meter? or might you be able to tote yours along?

i have a sneaky suspicion about something.... and i'm dead set to prove it if i can... before i was apathetic, but now i'm just irked.

btw -- you going to Chazmageddon? looks like we're planning on trying to make that. even if you aren't, i think we're still making plans to be sure and connect on Saturday.

oh and if I can remember I'll bring my meter along... dare I ask what your going to look for with it??

I can't read what shifty's been saying because he's made #1 on my Ignore list because he's such an '!@$^%$' to deal with and way to arrogant for my taste.

what i'm looking for?
well, it is something i've suspected since the original thread w/ Shifty... and i even recalled mentioning it then, but i fear it was lost in the mayhem.

i'll give you a clue... do you trust Mac? do you trust Wisconsin? do you trust William (from above)? do you trust Bob?

Well I think its pretty clear I trust and respect them all. And I'll be honest, I'd trust shifty too but that guy is such an arrogant a-hole that I have no time for people like that. If someone want's to be a dick fine, go ahead,... but go to some other forum and do it. I have enough to deal with everyday, and dealing with people like him make me sick.

In fact the whole situation makes me sick that he's even here. He's been banned 3-4 times... and lets not remember I don't ban people the admins do it. I recommend it but they do their own research to make sure its deserved. I've been wrong before and I can admit it, I've done it in the past, here, online, in this open forum.

This forum has changed from what it used to be. It was in the past a very close knit forum that didn't put up with jack... now it seems to me that its changing... its sad really. I come here less and less because of it.

And as for shifty and his stupid wiring discription... he copied from another website and as you stated most likely from DEI, I not positive but I'm pretty sure that's their's. I put him on my Ignore list, because I'm not dealing with him anymore.
