Default RCA, Speaker Wire

Just wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for RCAs, Speaker wire, or Amp kits.

Knuconceptz has good prices...is their stuff good? Does anyone know how their RCAs sound?

Also anyone know how many feet of speaker, power, RCA they needed and where they ran from to would be helpful for all.

THANKS!
John

I just recently had cause to cut up a 3-pair Monster rca cable (don't ask why). I was amazed at the tiny wires used within it. It was much thinner than what you find in really cheap rca's. I'm not an audio guru by any means, but I was really dissapointed w/ it for such an expensive set of cables.

Just ordered from KnuKoncepts a few weeks ago. There was a SNAFU in the ordering process.....Paypal did not redirect back to their page to complete the order, so I paid and no actual order was placed. I called them the next morning and they sorted everything out and it was shipped the same day. Good guys, good products, GREAT prices.

i just ordered all my install parts from Knu too....GREAT prices, and great shipping prices too.

I would also like to know HOW MUCH length wise people have used for their installs.
I have a feeling I went way overboard in quantities, but I did a search on the site and it wasnt very conclusive - still, better to have too much than too little!

Can anyone tell me how long to get the RCAs? 4M or 6M?

I was also going to get their 4 conductor twisted 12G Speaker wire. How long are my runs from above the gas tank amp install?

Thanks,
John

I bought 5m RCA's so I'd have some slack, though I could have probably easily gotten away with 4m and still had some extra length.

For speaker cable, I ran 4-conductor from the spare tire to both doors by going down the passenger rail (I didn't want to parallel run the 1/0 awg power down the drivers side ;-) ). The drivers side line crossed over behind the headunit and under the carpeting, then back up to the entry hole. I bought 35 ft of it and had a few feet left over on each side with about 1.5-2 ft of slack on each x-overs. Personally I'd always rather spend for an extra couple feet that I can toss or reuse (like from the amp to the x-over) than run short.

I used 16 feet of remote wire to the same spare tire spot with a few extra feet of slack in the trunk as usual.

I wasnt too far off then - I got 35ft of 4 conductor too.
IIRC I got 15' 4ga and 15' of 8ga power wire too
