The gateway club had a 700+ mile into Bull Shoals this spring and had an fantastic time Hills of Missouri Run. Here are Some pictures. We are looking to make the fall run even more spectacular with new routes, new friends, and new acquaintances from other S2K Communities.
The Route:This route has been designed to allow the Kansas City and Gateway S2K owners unite in Jefferson City. Jefferson City south to Table Rock/Branson. Meet up with the Oklahoma S2K Owners, go for a cruise, eat, drink, and be merry then spend the evening. Each respective group to return on their own scenic run. The Branson to St. Louis return through familiar territory including Gainesville, West Plains, Salem, and Potosi. The Branson to KC return south through Table Rock then north near Stockton Lake and the Harry S Truman Reservoir.

The Accommodations:
I made our reservations today at the Travelodge in Branson. Reserved 10 rooms. 8 with double beds (Non-smoking) and 2 with king size beds (Smoking). Room rates were $49.46 + Tax for the Non-smoking and $53.00 + tax for the smoking. I have dibs on one of the smoking rooms . These rooms have been reserved for those that are currently in a "Confirmed State" on the list. If you still want to join us, it's not to late. Many rooms still available.
JulieU and I took the smoking rooms. If you would prefer to stay in a smoking room, I can easily change it. Just let me know.
day1si has made his own reservations at the Travelodge.
A reservation fee of $25 was charged to hold these rooms, my donation to this run.

Absolutely no experience with this area's waypoints. Anyone know the best spots?
8BALL - Dude - thanks for pulling all of this together. The route looks twistie enough for some real fun!
For anyone on the maybe list (or "casually thinking about it"), the Hills of Missouri trip organized by 8BALL this year was a total blast. Don't miss this one!
Everyone... Please send me some information on where you would prefer to have dinner after our "Lake Run". See post above on options. I would like to get our reservations squared away to assure larger group accommodations.
Count me in I'll take a non-smoking room. (from KC group).
Got you down as confirmed. I'll be posting meeting times and place to meet in Jeff City shortly. We need to be in Table Rock by 4:00, so I'm thinking by 11:00 or so is probably a good time.
