Default Free WRS2K!

WRS2K has been a loyal member of s2ki for almost 5 years.

A while back, he was restricted from the rest of the site due to individuals not liking his tone and comments about other users and their vehicles. He was banished to the PACNW forum.

WRS2K displayed a great level of restraint (more than I ever did) when this happened and, for lack of a better term, took his lumps and stuck around, still contributing to the PACNW.

I think it's time to let him start posting again in other forums on s2ki. If nothing else, let him post in Under the Hood.

He was no worse in the past (personal opinion) than any of the posters I see on here now.

Incorrect. It wasn't due to individuals not liking it. It was due to his consistent offensiveness, and breach of site rules.

Just to clarify

As for the rest, I do not know if he has shown restraint, or improved his ways, so I cannot comment on that

Perhaps. I'm not going to disagree, he can be offensive. So can I. So are a lot of people here. It just seems that as of late, more tollerance is being given to other that make comments no worse than he did and nothing happens to them.

I think the COs in PACNW should be consulted and a decision should be decided upon.

There is no harm to the community as a whole to give him another chance. it's not like he can kill or physically harm anyone and anything he types can be moderated and his access can be revoked just as it is now.

I would be in favor of giving WRS2K more access to the board. He's been a near model citizen of late and has contributed to the board in a positive manner.

3ngin33r1,

I remember this individual distinctly and would not be in favor of giving him another chance. He's lucky he has access to his local community, which was a compromise that was decided upon at the time. He's been abusive not only to other users on this site but to the moderators who asked him to tone it down. In addition to his offensive posts, he has had at least three other accounts banned for his abusive posts. People are given numerous warnings before restrictions and/or banning occur. If an individual chooses to ignore those warnings they should be prepared to accept the consequences of their actions. This individual once responded to a moderator's pm about his behavior with something along the lines of "I'm not going to change. Ban me if you must." I know you know this because that thread occurred during your time as a moderator and you participated in that thread. Well, he got almost what he requested. Given his past I see no reason he should be allowed any additional access than he has now. And, if he wants it, he should request it instead of someone else with a reasonable argument as to why his restrictions should be lifted.

What is the point of punishment if they are never given the chance to not do it again?

What's he going to do again? Type something mean?
