Red face Install/Fluid Changeout day

This is our last planned event of the year.

Install Day is scheduled on October 23rd (Sunday). I'll sponsor this event since it's been a while since we met at my house. So, you know what my starting time is going to be 9:00am

I would expect we have the norms (oil, brake fluid, diff, tranny fluids...), as well as, some general items. Such as removing the throttle body bypass, 4wheelVFR has a Diff to switch out, and I think Ron (rpstl) has some changes he wants to do as well.

I'm good on fluids and don't think I will have anything else this year.

So... Post up if your coming and what you need to do.

Oh no.... I should have my new diff in way before then. I cannot wait to see what the 4.57's are gonna be like. Oil change and maybe pads though. I don't know if I'll make it. Have to wait and see. When does discussion on '06 events take place?

Ay this point, I have nothing to install. I do have $300 to spend if anyone has any suggestions. Otherwise, I will be there to learn and help. Let me know if you need any tools

What I need is :
Oil change
Tranny Fluid Change
Diff Fluid Changed
Rotors turned
Radio Door installed

Don't know if there is time for that given what others will need done, but thats my list. I'm not very car savvy either. Look forward to meeting some others I haven't met yet.

I don't see anything on that list that will take much time outside the rotors. I'm curious what exactly you want to do with them? Are you going to take them to be resurfaced? I have an OEM set of rotors with 8k miles on them if you are interested.

Hmmmmm.....might be interested. During moderate to hard braking, I get a little vibration. Just figured the rotors need turned, but like I said, I'm not very "car smart".

My car does the same thing... I don't think it is my rotors as they have only been on 20k miles. I think my pads are about shot though. How many miles are on your OEM rotors and how hard do you drive?
