Thumbs up Getting a pop before the start.

Well, when the car sits for a few days and I turn the ignition into second possition, I hear how the fuel pump does it's thing and than it POPS big time. Like when a plumbed hose suddenly gets opened. If I do it again after that, it will not do the same. Only when I let her sit for a few days.

What could it be?

This is fairly common with the AEM EMS. It is residual fuel exploding in the intake.

Sounds pretty bad but if I remember correctly it's very low pressure and nothing to worry about.

Yup, we all seem to get it.
There was a thread about this some time ago and everyone had it too, including me

Turn off your Crank Inject All option.
This should solve the problem.

I can't imagine any combustion in the intake plenum being healthy.

Many thanks to you guys, you are the greatest!

Isn't it a nice feeling that everyone has it?Maybe it's a virus spread by the EMS
Since I know what it is, I am not that concerned anymore, but it sure would be nice to get rid of it. Please report any news once you try it.

One thing that helps is start cranking the car before the RPM bars fall back to 0(they rise to redline, then fall back down when you turn the key to ON). This way, when it happens(its unavoidable by all attempts from me anyway), youll be cranking and it wont be noticeable. Ive even had some VERY quick startups doing this
