This game is just awesome!!!! Anyone else out there have a chance to try it out?

 

i'm going to pick it up soon...thought i might rent it first to see whether or not i really wanna get it

 

I saw it round at my brother-in-law's last night. Awesome, truly awesome - imagine being *in* the city and doing what you used to do in GTA, GTA2.

Stunning, you can see the people you are beating up, driving over etc. The AI is way better too, people fight back and you can end up doing a Tekken on their a##! Superb.

 

GTA3 rocks! Picked it up Friday and already logged twenty hours over the weekend playing. Forget the missions, just driving around raising hell and bashing heads in with the baseball bat, eluding police and hijacking cars is a lot of laughs!

 

I was wondering if I should start a thread about GTA3 yesterday, but I figured someone else will and I'll just reply to it.

So here I am... replying.

This game is Friggen Awesome!!! It is just so much fun... and there is a lot you can do with it. You can go up on roof tops and snipe people, play a Crazy Taxi type game, be a vigilante... and much much more. It is amazing... it's like you are truly in Liberty City wreaking havoc(sp?). Oh, and the radio stations are funny as hell too!

What is your favorite car? Mine is the Banshee and the Cheetah.

 

My favorite car for speed and control is the cop car. (Plus - with the lights on, cars get out of your way.)

For bashing, I like the semi truck or the bus.

 

My favorite one for bashing is the Military Surplus truck that you can get on Staunton Island. You can go through a stoplight full of cars without barely gettin slowed down.
