Default pepboys wouldn't let me change the springs!

i got a set of new springs today, wanted to install it, so i went to
pepboys-
they wouldn't install it, because
1) not oem parts.
2) lower than oem spec.
3) they thought i cut off the original spring
and, they would not let me borrow/ rent their spring compressors. (i thought i could? by reaing other threads...)
eeh, what should i do?

you should be able to buy a spring compressor. they don't cost much. Maybe look for a speed shop or talk to one of the mechs at the dealer. maybe one of them would do a little job on the side for some extra dough. Two of the Mechs at my dealer have very fast integras and civics (mid 12s) they will do anything I want done on my car.

Why would PepBoys care if they were OEM or not? Or was this a case of "you didn't buy them from us, so we won't install them?"

Seems like they're saying no to your business. Go elsewhere?

Go to Auto Zone and rent some spring compressors bud!

Or go to an import tuner shop.

You can go to just about anywhere... except Pep Boys, I guess .

An auto body repair shop should also do it for you.

uhhhh, stupid pepboys, just goto any import shops you see around, and ask. If you don't want to pay, I'm sure there's some other S2000 owners who have a spring compressor, just work it out with them
