Spring Install - Where?

Default Spring Install - Where?

Have some springs to install but no longer have tools/garage to do it myself.
Called up a shop and they want $200 (normally $250 but I am friends with some people there). Is it just me or does that sound insane?

Anybody else know of some shops that can do it for less? Was thinking $100ish!

i got some buddies in marysville that always hook me up with 100 dollar spring installs for my friends. shop is called fushion autoworks

I just put some Espelir springs on my ap2 last week and didnt even use a spring compressor (i let a friend borrow mine and he returned it stripped) , but the fronts were hardly preloaded and the backs you could spin on the struts after loosenin the stut top hat bolt.
Its super easy man! Probobly one of the easiest cars I lowered besides AE86's...

I just followed the diy from this forum, only took about an hour. The hardest part was clearance at the left rear strut between the fuel lines, other than that it is a peice of cake, if u need some help just hit me up man, Im in tacoma ill help for free, but i don have a garage either...

I know it's easy, I installed coilovers on my first S2k.
I just don't have the tools or a garage anymore.

I went with Espelir's too! But they're friggin' backordered.

Right now it's pending with a member who PMd me so we'll see how that goes.

Yeah the Espelirs are great, not too much of a drop and the ride didnt seem much more aggressive than stock, it did make the rear end a bit more drift happy on my ap2 but thats exactly what i was going for. Well good luck with the other member, if that doesnt work I could arrange something at a friends garage using my tools if im your last resort. But dont pay anyone man, its just not worth it (unless your time is worth more than the price of install) when you have a forum and great members like this...

that's what i was thinking too but i always feel bad when people help me with things like this. and while it should take an hour, it ends up taking 3 because of either stupid gas lines, extremely tight bolts that require breaker bars and trips to the tool store, lunch break, etc etc unforeseeable problems.

more drift happy eh? wonder if it will have the same results on my ap1. im going with the uk alignment again and 215/255 tires. what did you set?
