Thumbs down 00-01 rear window replacement

I did the rear window replacement this weekend with my friend. The whole job took us about 6 hours. Neither of us had done this before so we followed the S2000 service manual step by step. It came out perfect. (I'd never used rivets before but the manual tells you the correct size needed- actually the riveting was the easiest part of the process)

I took many pictures during the replacement and I

Wow, that's great that it worked out for you. You should make a how-to thread for others. I know there are hundreds of threads on here talking about if it's possible to replace the plastic window without replacing the top.

The three retainers

The rear window comes off easily once the retainers have been removed

There are two clips on either side which hold the top to the car

You first have to drill the rivets and heat up the Au before you can remove them, you'll get the hand of it after the first two

New window zipped on - takes few tries to get it right

I reused the zip locks

This isolation tape comes new with the window from Honda, make sure the center of the tape is over the center of the window

I had so much fun riveting this thing that I forgot to ask my friend to take picture of me doing it

Before the bolts were put on

Pushing the rear trim in through the trunk

And here it is (note the color difference)
