Default "TECH/MOD-DAY"

ALLEGHENY CLUB'S "TECH/MOD-DAY" INFO:

Ok guys, here is the date you have all been waiting for-"TECH/MOD-DAY" at Hardtopguy's place will be held Saturday, March 25, 2006. We also set aside a bad weather date of April 1st just in case of late snow fall.

Here is the tentitative plan...Since Bill, Cale and I are all having some more involved work done on our cars, we are planning on heading up a the weekend before (March 18th). If anyone wants to join the caravan, they are more than welcome! Hardtopguy is going to loan us his Ridgeline to get back home.

The following Saturday, March 25, 2006 will be the club's reguarly scheduled day. I wil pick up whoever needs a ride back (Bill, Cale, etc...) and meet the rest of the group plannng on attending at a central location. Perhaps somewhere in Pittsburgh???(please let me know what meeting area will work for most of you.) Since the drive back to Hardtopguy's place will take about an hour and a half. We will need to leave early. I'm thinking 8:30ish??? (possibly earlier...)

Once we get to Jeff's place, work will start on the cars. We may need some extra jack stands and floor jacks if any of you guys have them. Keep in mind...we can put extra equipment in the Ridgeline. Also, Jeff plans to hold a barbeque for us. If anyone wants to contribute to the food or beverage menu please let me know! As an extra bonus...some lucky club members will be able to test drive Jeff's supercharged NSX or (non) supercharged Ridgeline...

This is turning out to be and exciting event. So far we have have planned an AP1 scheduled for 4.77's, an AP2 for 4.77's, several AP2s for 4.56's, maybe an AP2 with 4.56's and a supercharger...WOW. Talk about an exciting variety! CAN YOU GUYS IMAGINE OUR NEXT GROUP DRIVE???

HOW TO JOIN IN ON THE FUN???

Just post or PM me with your intetions. Do you want to just come hang out? Do you want to drive Jeff's car? Do you just want to eat? Do you need gears...

All members who need gears, clutch work, etc.. need to send Hardtopguy a $500 deposit A.S.A.P. Most of the minor work like fliud changes, valve adjustments, brakes, etc.. can be paid for at "Tech-Day". However, we still need to know if you will need this work done.

I can't wait

PRICING:

1. 4.56 Gears, install, speed fixer, etc.........................$1150**
2. 4.77 Gears, install, speed fixer, etc

Only until Bill has his installed. You should see his list of custom work!

The only thing holding me back is tax time. Hopefully I won't owe again this year. Maybe Ryan can think of a way I can deduct the supercharger?

Guys remember, I don't work for Hardtopguy. I'm just the organizer of the meet. All I can do is relay the info to him. He figures out the prices. Since he is giving us a discount, it is hard for me to even guess. I do however forward all your questions to him. Since he is busy, it may take him a few days to respond. If I hear something before he posts, I'll post it up!

Keep an eye on the board for new info!
