Default Resonated Test Pipe Questions... I Tried Searching

Which test pipes are resonated and which one is the best? Also were can I order one? Are the resonated Ebay test pipes any good? I figured all test pipes add around the same HP (resonated or not) but do the resonated ones sound any better? I have a RSR Catback exhaust if that helps... Oh and I already have the spark plug anti foulers for the CEL.

Megan makes resonated testpipes, thats the one I bought. Megan testpipes are available for $95 shipped in the group-buy section right now. I did a quick search on eBay and all those look like Megan copies but they are more expensive.

Heres a question I forgot... Does a resonated test pipe make a difference in sound over one that is not resonated? Also the HP gains are the some for both correct? If not which ones add more?

The HP gains will be realatively similar, the resonated pipe will be slightly quieter and take some of the harshness out of the exhaust tone.

I have a T1R exhaust and a Rick's header. I bought the exhaust first and with the T1R test pipe the exhaust was LOUD! Then I added the header, which actually made everything a little quieter. But it was still too loud for me. I ordered the megan test pipe in hopes of making things just a little bit quieter and thats what happened. I absolutley love the sound of my exhaust with my set up. I may have lost a few hp switching from the T1R test pipe to the megan test pipe, but the difference in sound was worth it to me.

I put a T1R on my stock/magnaflows/resonatorectomy and got a raspy resonance when I took my foot off the gas at WOT that I didn't get before the testpipe.
I replaced the T1R with a megan resonated and I still get the raspiness but not as pronounced.
The megan is only a 2.25 inner diameter vs the TIR which is a full 2.5 ID. It does look like a CAT tho so that is a slight selling point just in case you are pulled over.

Considering you are replacing a CAT that looks like this to the exhaust flow

to an open pipe
