This bugs me too. A quick search out there confirms what you said - there's not much info out there.

Okay, couldn't take it anymore.......seen your posts all over the place . If you search in electronics you will see your post first and then this one:

Not sure what else you'd need to know.
I might put an 04 on if they have to pop off my bumper for the hail repair.
Good Luck.

LOL

I knew if I was persistent enough i would get some replies - thanks for "reacting". Thanks for the link.

Actually found the same link a few days ago. I guess my problem is that I am a little gunshy about changing the fuses out. In the process of searching for threads, I found that the new electrical load of the horns cause the fuse to blow... therefore... the need to up the amperage on the fuse. With that said... I don't like the idea of just changing the fuse amperage since there are other electrical components on that same fuse (to the best of my knowledge it is the ABS system and the rear brake lights). This is why I am refereing to putting in a relay in the horn line, eliminating the need to change the fuse amperage.

Of course, maybe changing the fuse is not a big deal. I am not an electrical guy so I am pretty much a moron on the subject. Instinct just tells me that changing out the fuse would not be the most brilliant solution to this mod...

Again... maybe I am just over-analyzing.

vbmarcus-
Took may pics - at the moment, they seem to be unavailable due to electronic issues. Will post a "How to" soon.

Bottom line - MY02 and later have it easy (that's me ) the horns just "plug & play"

MY01 or earlier, there's a bit of electrical to accomplish.

I hope my camera behaves for later - I'll post pics.
