Default Ferrari Crash Update

Here is a running update of Ferrarigate, or is it Deitrichgate, Erikssongate, or is it just the tip of international finance and intrigue or maybe a spy thriller?

So the Ferrari shouldn't have been over here in the first place?

They are making too big of deal out of this. Was anyone killed? I don't remember anyone being killed or maimed.

It's worse, an Enzo was destroyed! There are lots of babies being made, but they ain't makin no more Enzos. (ducking)

On a more serious note, sure they're making too big a deal of it but how often do you get a million dollar auto destroyed and have strange stories surrounding it?

while poking around the site.. look at the skyline GT-R's.. the majority are wrap-around damage to the passenger side...

too much drifting going on in Japan..

That site has a link to the animation of the crash recontruction. In it the news reported says that Ferrai said they can rebuild the car for about $200k - $300k and it'd be good as new. I can't imagine anyone feeling ok driving a car that had been through a 162MPH wreck that spilt the car in two.

It does show a nice profit margin for Ferrai though, assuming that $300k is basically rebuilding the entire car, and it was $675k new.

A bus anti terrorist police force?

Homeland security?

Failed foreign software company?

Where Robert Ludlum hiding?

Next someone is going to jump out and say "Smile you're on Candid Camera" or "You've been Punked!"

You couldn't afford the oil changes, and the maintenance expenses would cause a divorce.
