XVIPER Dave & I have been discusing the idea of having another Meet/ on the lines of the Vancouver/ shine Coast one we did last year.

Hope we get lots of interest and input over the next bunch of months. We're all having to depend on you folks to figure out a route and find some suitable motels/hotels at the overnight spot and for the intial starting point. I've alerted the Vancouver CO to post a similar thread in their forum.

I hate to ask, but is this a cruise, for the fun of driving our wonderful cars in good weather with others, or will part or all of this devolve into a race/high speed driving on public roads?
ooooh, I love these drives. I don't have time right this moment to research routes, etc. (will try later), but I am aware of this pretty nifty website that list all of WA's state scenic byways:

This is NOT the general intent. Calmer heads try to prevail. It's tough to enjoy scenery when you're constantly worried about being pulled over by the law. Last year, noone got into trouble.

It sounds like fun, then. I could be convinced to take part, if the weather cooperates, but I would vastly prefer one long day (hopefully with a respectable ferry ride ) to two days.
