Default My Berlina Black gets an Exhaust

I have kept the car pretty much stock barring the AEM intake and now T1R Sparrow exhaust because it is a lease. I know it would look MUCH better lowered but that is a little more involved than I want to get on a car I will probably give back in 2 years.

Comments and criticism are welcome after you take the lease part into consideration.

Exhaust looks good. I'm thinking about trading my Mugen for it. Whats your review of the Sparrow?

I love the Sparrow! Makes me miss my car and hearing it fire up. Sparrow sounds sooo good.

Looks great.

I have the exact same ride... and was thinking about the Sparrow -- what are your impressions?

I love the looks and quality of the exhaust but I am torn between having the silencers in or out. With silencers in, you hear almost very little before VTEC yet it screams above 6k. I have an AEM CAI though so that may be part of what I hear. I am not crazy about the way the silencers look because there is too much shiny steel from the back angle for my taste. I would have to paint them a flat black if I decided to put them back in.

The silencers out looks the best and I'm sure performs a little better. My only issue with the silencers out is that people probably expect to see a Civic with a coffee can muffler as I drive by at lower RPM. This tone is only present when you have your foot about half-way in it and there is very little noise at all when you are at highway speeds. Don't get my wrong though...it sounds AMAZING in VTEC...but I am trying to decide if it is worth the possible negative attention the low RPM may bring.

I could be imagining things though because everyone raves about how good this exhaust sounds. The next test will be letting a friend drive while I ride in another car to confirm on how it sounds.

There doesn't seem to be any drone on the highway which is one of the big selling points for me. I've tried crusing at a few different speeds between 60 and 80 mph.
