Default Who's Car Is This from WTD?

This yellow S had hot wheels, painted AP2's. Is this car a member of the GA Squadron? Looking for close up pics of the wheels. Please respond back if you know this car or, have pics. Thanx !!

These are the best ones I have for now. I haven't taken any up close shots yet.

Big Time Thanx for the response! I have video of the car and some so-so close ups but the camera really does not do the wheels justice. I was talking to the local fellas' here the other night about your wheels and they wanted to see these things. Hope you don't mind the copy-cats but me thinx that somebody is gonna' plagiaize you.

Anyhoot, they look super. Even my wife, who is not a mod queen, said that those would look good on our car. Believe me, that is a real compliment. She's so stacked...........oops; I mean stock.

Havin' fun!!...........Zacksdad2

Thanks man. Yeah, as far as I know, those are the only ones like them for now. I haven't seen any other ideas for painting AP2 wheels other than doing the whole thing.

The lip appears to be polished and the remainder of the rim looks like the factory OEM Silver...right? Also, what black paint was used?

The wheel, other than the black paint, is exactly how the AP2 wheel is stock. I just had the spokes painted with berlina black. You have to find a good tape guy though to make sure the line comes out right. Lots of sanding involved to prep it. After that, they just masked it off, sprayed the black, then put clearcoat over the whole wheel.

Thanks Scott for hunting down the man with the awsome ap2 wheels. They look really nice. I wanted to black anodize my wheel then clearcoat but the it didn't work out that way. So I just had them powdered black. Thanks again for the pics.
