Default Owning an S2000 AND a 2007 Civic Si

Hi. I am thinking about buying a 2007 Honda Civic Si because it might be better in the snow. But I'm wondering if it will compliment the S2000 well or will it just seem like a weak, watered down version of what I already own. Maybe it will be like owning a Stratocaster and a Telecaster, both machines go good together. What do you think? Maybe there are forum members who own both cars.

I owned a 04 S2k and currently own a 06 Si. they are two way different cars. stock for stock the s2k will feel allot stronger. the Si is simply a great handling machine for an fwd car and will feel right at home on the track. my Si has injen cai, greddy evo2 exhaust, hondata image and it feels just like my s2k power wise. I don't know about buying this car for snow purposes, I think a better choice would be a WRX or some other awd car. it

You get snow in San Diego?

Haven't driven a new Si yet, but I'm thinking I'll pick up a 4 door Si here in a few years to be my daily driver. I think it would be a great car to have with an S2000.

Exactly what I was thinking... Great minds obviously think alike, because we even own the same 2 cars!

Civic Si should be fine in the snow... IF you can find some good snow tires for it. Ideally, if the Civic can fit 16" or 15" wheels over the brakes, that's the way to go for winter wheels and tires. And the stock LSD should help quite a bit.

"Purple Haze" has an earlier join date than you do. Perhaps he should be asking you that question...

Why would you drop $15k on another car for snow instead of $1k for snow tires?

Talk to ralper over on the vintage forum. Rob has an S2000 and a Civic Si, and he loves driving both of them.
