I knew this would happen!
So I've been driving around my new (to me) 2003 Porsche C2 for over two months. This car is great. A back seat that I can use for my son, power, nice sounds coming from the back, etc. No issues except for a remote that quit working yesterday. No big deal.
So what's the problem? I miss my f**king s2000!
The bus that I take to/from work passes by a Honda dealer everyday. What's is the window? A rio yellow s2000 just like the one I traded in. It's driving me crazy. I can't shake the guilt. Despite how nice the Porsche is, it's no s2000. Call me nuts, but I'm about to break down any day now. All it'll take is seeing a new grand prix white with the red interior and it will be GAME OVER.
If I even break this to the wife, she may end up divorcing me, taking the kid and WORSE...the dog! What to do?! Argh! F**ckin' Honda.

Yea the only car I ever considered to replace the S was an Exige.. but even then.. not sure..
^No shit? I didn't know they came out with that, but, now that I think about it, guess I never actually read what they did for '07. Did they bring out the Imola orange? That GPW/red would be nice, though I like my tan.

I'm with ya man...
We traded our '02 NFR on an '03 M3 convertible, and while it's a fantastic car, I really miss the lightness and maneuverability of the S. No amount of suspension mods will turn a 3700 pound four-seat GT into a two-seat roadster.
I'm actually thinking of dropping a few thousand dollars on a first-gen Miata, but the Honda has a place in our hearts forever.
We always want what we don't have, and we don't know what we have until it's gone!

Yep. Check out Honda's S2000 exterior color picker.

Click on the GPW button and you'll see the red/black interior.
No, no Imola. Berlina Black, GPW, Laguna Blue, NFR, Rio Yellow and Silverstone.

That's why I still have my 7+ year old S2000. I'd love to own an Elise, NSX or 993 Carrera S, but only if I can keep the S2000. And there's just not enough room in the garage.
Me too... I have tested, driven, shopped, and certainly thought about a different car. But my S2000 has been with me since 10/99 and is still entertaining. I have no plans to trade it off right now.
