Post Free Trades at Zecco-opinions?

Hey I thought I'd share this because its a new company. I've been using it for a few months and I am happy, but please do your own research, I am only raising the awareness.

www.Zecco.com

You get up to 40 free stock trades per month with minimum $2500 opening balance

Real time level one quotes when your logged in and have an account.

Any other opinions or comments? Like I said so far so good for me.

This is the first I've heard of it. Here's a discussion of Zecco and others:

this was just pointed out to me on another forum. looks decent.

BofA offers free trades if your combined account is $25k or more.

Yes B of A does, but the 25k has to be in checking, CD's or Money Markets, so it was useless for me.

Thanks for sharing! As long as they won't take my money and run, I'm all for free trades.

I'm very seriously considering opening an account and/or transferring my Scottrade account. I can handle the $7 commissions at ST, but it would be nice to reinvest dividends free of charge when they come in. Otherwise I'm kinda forced to let them accumulate in my account until I can add money.

Zecco charges money for every mutual fund trade - is that the same as an ETF (like DIA or QQQQ)?

No, ETFs trade just like stocks so they will not charge you @zecco
