Got my 1 day old S2000 impounded and I was arreste
On Tuesday I was driving on a main road, up ahead I saw a huge line of cars and a bunch of police officers stopping people and handing out some sort of flyer
I end up going up to them, ready to make my donation ( I figured they were collecting donations for the holidays ) and to my surprise the police officer tells me to pull up to the parking lot and throw the keys out of my car
About 5 minutes later an officer walks up to my car and asks for I.D, I told him it was stolen and I would have my girlfriend bring some form of I.D for me.
The cop didn't even wait until my girlfriend came, next thing I know some tow truck driver is hooking up my 1 day old S2000 up to his truck and I'm being asked too place my hands behind my back. I started arguing, they charged me with failiure to carry I.D and resisting arrest. They later brought that down too " not cooperating with a city official. "
The cops ended up pulling my 9 year old niece out of the car, I was put in the back of a police car not knowing what happened to my niece or my S2000. When I got to the police station I was told I was being booked for 1 day and they tried looking up my name for booking, it turns up DMV mispelled my name
so they couldn't I.D me positively.
Anyways fast forward to wednesday, I was released and all charges were dropped, I still had to pay for my car to be released from the tow yard though but all in all my S2000 is ok and I'm happily at my house.
