Got my 1 day old S2000 impounded and I was arreste
ok, thios is one of those "there has to be more to the story" instances.
Sounds to me like they were doing a sobriety or seat belt checkpoint and you decided you didn't want to wait and tried to go around.
Dunno. Just seems like there are a LOT of holes in that story. They don't lock you up for a day for not having your license with you. And resisting arrest isn't tossed out easily either.

Is it me or am I the only person that dosen't think we live in South Africa and have to carry your papers at all times to identify who you are. I am constantly noticing people who freak out when they don't have their ID on them. I have always known my license number and given it out to cops when i'm pulled over if I don't have my ID on me.
They then go to the car and pull up a picture of me and can verify the info.
Am I wrong in my thinking, is their actually a law that you have to have your license on you....or do you just have to HAVE a valid license?
Didn't mean to offend anyone from South Africa, just a saying I use.

I've been pulled over with a broken tail light, no license, expired registration, and no insurance card and I didn't even get a warning.. I was only told to bring my insurance into the station the following morning
you got screwed.
