Default Dutch S2K project

update: 500whp, built engine

I've been working on my S2000 for 3,5 years now and it's progressing pretty good.
The base was a year 2000 model NFR, everything standard. At first I wanted to get the looks right, get some nice ICE in there and make some more noise

Exterior
- New paint job, 3 layers of NFR topped with 3 layers of transparent paint
- Ultraleggera 18" wheels 225 front, 255 rear
- oem rear wing
- 2005 model rear bumper
- front bumper modified, numberplate lowered, removed headlight washers
- Wheel arches rolled
- TEIN Flex coilovers
- tinted windows
- NRG hood dampers
- rear lights model 2005
- headlights units 2005

Motor / exhaust
- custom exhaust (UR) 3" dual with Magnaflow + year 2005 tips
- InlinPro GT30R turbo kit Dutch turbo project
- Rotora BBK
- X-brace
- rear brace

Interior
- sounddeadening, doors, front, console, trunk
- EDFC for TEIN Flex coilovers
- DEFI BF meters, exhaust temp, oil temp, oil pressure and turbo , amber
- DEFI BF control unit
- Alcantara dash, stills, doors
- Alcantara seats with S2000 logo
- carbon console
- Muz prestige floor mats
- Muz prestige mat for plastic window
- Muz trunk saddlebags

ICE
- Alpine DVA-9860 head unit
- Alpine SPX-177R components
- Alpine tweaters molded into doors
- Alpine 6,5" screen in dash
- JL Audio 500/1 amp
- JL Audio 300/4 amp
- 2 alphasonic 8" subwoofers (600 series)
- 2 subwoofer enclosures

coming up:
- SPOD's with Alpine SPX-137R components

The S stripped a bit, sanded, alle dents removed (more than 80)

As you can see we need numberplates up front. But standard Honda put's it just beneath the logo . So we changed that. In Europe we officially need headlight washers because of the Xenon lights. That's F### ugly so that's gone too.

So the new 2005 model rear bumper is installed. Together with the new exhaust it looks very OEM, beautifull! Nice thing is that the exhaust looks oem but is definately not . The OZ Ultraleggera's make it look pretty European.

Testpipe: Also helps lessen the drone

This pic was made during dash install. The Alcantara is actually charcoal black. It should get darker as time passes by. The rest of in interior is in the works.

I love these seats. The middle part is Alcantara now with the S2000 logo made up top. I also did the doors red/black, i'll make some pics.

Isolating the doors was pretty easy compared with the rest of the interior floor.
And it really works! But does add some weight to the car.

This one's from a year ago. The carbon centre console is in place, screen installed, DEFI meters mounted but for the rest pretty standard.

w00w! I've had the alcantara seats and dash planned for a while. No $ and I don't know anyone who'll do it. I want to get a navi hole cut as well. This I can get, but I don't know anyone who'll do it. I love the sound insulation material. Where'd you get the material, and what are the best places to put it? Doors, under the carpets, and maybe trunk? I don't know if any noise comes from the trunk...might be a stupid idea.

The insulation material is from raamaudio (rick@raamaudio.com). I think it's called RAMMMAT.
For the doors it's really great, your sound is going to improve bigtime. I also did it under the carpets but I wouldn't do it again, it's really a PITA to do and the results are not worth the effort I think.
But then again it does deaden the sound, i'd guess a 4-5 db.

I'd definately do the trunk, especially if you have a loud exhaust. I'll be doing that in the near future too.

Holland, Nieuwegein to be more precise (near Utrecht)

So you're from Belgium Graphtuner? I'll be at the Zolder circuit on the 18th February.

No racing but drifting

I already insulated the trunk lid, helps it from vibrating heavily when the subs are blasting
