Default Radar Dectector: Escort Solo S2

Everything you see in the pics is included.
The bracket is brand new as well as the suction cups.

Features:

* 360-degree radar and laser detection

* Convenient cordless design uses 2 AA batteries (included)

* High-efficiency power management maximizes battery life

* Advanced digital signal processing

* AutoSensitivity mode virtually eliminates false alarms

* Long-range protection on all radar bands

* Ultra-performance laser protection

* Completely immune to the VG-2 "detector-detector"

* 10 user programmable features

* High resolution graphic LCD display

* Built-in earphone jack

* Patented Escort technology

* Optional SmartCord compatible

As mentioned above, a nice feature is that it can detect radar dectector detectors and shut off temporarily.
Helps in the not-so-friendly localities such as Virginia and DC.
You can shut this feature off too.

The dectector has only been used for a couple of months since I received
a V1 for xmas.

Ebay prices around $250-270 with shipping so $260 shipped is what I'm asking.

Look on the good guys thread for feedback.
Thanks.

Hopefully this isn't too stupid of a question, but do the battery ones work as well as plugged in? I've seen a lot of battery operated electronics that just dont perform as well as their corded friends.

Always disadvantages to having a battery powered unit, but for the solo 2 it shouldnt be noticeable to the point where it makes you regret buying the unit.

disadvantage of the cordless, well the solo, is that they can't detect the new pop3 radar guns...

POP 3 is not supposed to be used because it is not accurate enough yet. This is what I have been lead to believe. If they get you with one of these easy enough to goto court and get it dropped..
