Default Racing seat fitment

I have tried searching and havent really found the exact answer i am looking for. I am coming from a miata and i am looking into the s2000 as i hear the interior is larger. In the miata you cant really fit any race seat without beating in the transmission tunnel i am curious if the s2000 has the same problem? Basically i am looking to sit as low as possible and still be centered in front of the steering wheel, while still using the stock mounting points.

Yes, you can fit most racing seats. The biggest fitment issues are with seats with "wings" up at the shoulder level. These tend to hit the door and/or block opening the center console.

I have Recaro SPG XL seats in my car. They did need to have custom rails fabbed up. Narrower seats can use Taitec sliders.

I have the Taitec sliders with Sparco Revs. They're not actually installed yet since I'm waiting on my roll bar but they came out of another S that was tracked heavily. They do need to be fitted just right as to not totally block the center console but mine will still rub the door just a tad. No biggie just snug as heck.

you have to barly shave the wings on the seats to get them to fit. You cant even tell it was done

I am actually not looking for any adjustability, i kinda want to set it and forget. Basically i dont need sliders, are there any folks out there that offer brackets that work with side mount racing seats where the brackets bolt into the stock seat bolt holes. Also is there a problem with aftermarket seats centered infront of the steering wheel? Becuase that was a problem with the miata.
