1st gear 3-5 mph roll off a stop light i had the gto 1.5 cars all the way through the beginning of 4th then shut down. spun like crazy on the 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift from a launch it would have been worse. my friend was with me he said that they are low 13's high 12 second cars.

Great kill!! Both versions, the LS1 or LS2 should have been ahead in this race. Maybe the guy didnt know how to launch his GTO, or really how to drive. If you try and dump the clutch you will sit there and spin, while if your heading up against an S2000 he will get the jump. He should have pulled even with you somewhere along the way though. I have raced a couple S's since I had my gTO and it didn't turn out good for them from a roll or a dig.

I made the mistake and didnt read your signature earlier, now that I know you have gears and soem other odds and ends, I think that the results are about right, maybe with a better GTO driver you guys would have been even, but either way I think it would be a drivers race

Yeah this is pretty believable for the 5.7 litre version

yeah, even though we are only 50hp less than the 6.0 LS2 GTO's. I have ran against a couple of them and it only amounted to about a .5-.75 car length from 0-100

GTOs are pulling high 12s? I don't know about that.. certainly very low 13s though.

05/06 GTO's are consistant 13-13.2 cars. Some have ventured down in the 12.9 range, but with only the best drivers. 04' GTO's are consistant 13.3-13.5 cars, with even though some good drivers have dipped into lower 13's.

i ran one of the first LS1 GTO'(auto) and didnt really seem to have much of a problem with him, putting 1-2 cars on him from all various situations. thats not the case anymore. since then his got a Zo6 cam, heads, LT's and true dual 3in. that ****er boogies now!
