DIY Wind Deflector
Over the Easter hols ive managed a few days out in my S with the roof down and ive noticed the wind buffering due to the lack of a WD.
The one I was watching on Ebay sold for a fortune so ive decided to make my own WD, this is how Ive done it.

Spray the brackets satin black and they would look better

Ive also had another idea for a bracket which will look a lot better so its off to B&Q.
The original is made of Lexan not Perspex. Perspex is rather brittle as you have found out, specially when it is not very thick.
I would be worried that the air pressure will fracture it at speed. You really need to make out of 5-8mm Perspex or Lexan.
Lexan is a polycarbonate, the stuff shatter proof visors and vandal proof light fittings are made of
I just noticed the stuff you have used is not perspex it is Polystyene
Very brittle.

Good timing on this thread as I was in B&Q last night looking at the very same Pespex (Polystyrene) sheet for the very same reason! After fitting did you find that it made a noticeable difference to the buffeting?
I did think the 4mm Polystyrene was a bit thin though and a pain you had to pay
