Default BFGoodrich g-Force R1

These tires were tucked away in a corner in a GRM a couple months back with a note that more sizes were to be released in April 2007. I emailed BFGoodrich and this is what they came back with:

The following sizes are now available in the BFGoodrich g-Force R1:

P205/50ZR15, P225/50ZR15, P205/55ZR16, P225/50ZR16, P245/45ZR16,
P275/40ZR17, P315/35ZR17, P225/40ZR18, P245/45ZR18, P265/35ZR18, and
P285/30ZR18

The following sizes should be available by next month:

P225/45ZR17, P235/40ZR17, P245/40ZR17, P255/40ZR17, P275/35ZR18, and
P335/30ZR18

They look impressive but pricey. I realize they have not been out long, but does anyone have experience with these yet that they can weigh in with? Or does anybody plan on giving them a go?

I wonder if they'll release an autocross compound tire to compete with the A6 and v710.

All I want is A6 speed and turn in with v710 or better wear, all at azenis pricing

You've been around long enough not to get excited over not getting a response in four hours.

The R1's not yet legal for SCCA autocross, and probably won't be for '07 due to lack of sizes, so people are reluctant to try them -- this is the only firsthand report I've seen on any of the many forums I frequent.

I'm also interested in these tires. Here is some short reviews and info I found at rennlist:

Mostly on the second page.
